The organisers have curated a list of 333 players, consisting of 214 Indian cricketers and 119 from overseas, for the IPL 2024 Auction. Within this pool, there are 116 capped players and 215 uncapped talents. Additionally, there will be two players participating from the Associate Nations.

Here's a list of players who are anticipated to make a significant impact in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction:

Mitchell Starc, the Australian pacer, returns to the IPL after six years. Known for his lethal bowling in powerplays and deadly yorkers in the death overs, he brings formidable strength to any bowling attack. A base price of 2 Cr sets the stage for a fierce bidding war among franchises eager to secure his services.

Gerald Coetzee, a rising South African talent, showcased his bowling prowess in the recent World Cup with an impressive 20 wickets in 8 matches. Making his IPL debut in 2024, he's set his base price at Rs 2 crore, drawing interest from teams looking to strengthen their pace attack.

Shahrukh Khan, an uncapped player with a 40-lakh base price, is set to be a coveted all-rounder in the auction. His standout performance in the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023, where he claimed 17 wickets in nine games at an economy rate of 6.66, has heightened interest from franchises.

Pat Cummins, the World Cup-winning captain, is highly sought-after for his cunning bowling and leadership. He drew a record bid from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at INR 15.5 crore in 2020 and returned to the team for INR 7.25 crore after being released.

Vivrant Sharma, bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 2.20 crore in the 2023 IPL auction after a battle with Kolkata Knight Riders, impressed with a fifty on his debut against Mumbai. His recent Vijay Hazare Trophy performances, including a 144-run innings against Mizoram and an 83 against Uttarakhand, along with his reliable wrist spin, have put him on the radar of several teams.
