Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 will see Virat Kohli-starrer Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, in the opening fixture slated to take place on March 22 in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. On Thursday, February 22, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed an initial schedule for the 2024 season. This schedule spans the first 17 days, from March 22 to April 7, and includes a total of 21 matches. Let's look at the schedule for RCB based on the released IPL fixtures.
Faf du Plessis-led RCB are set to commence another season of the IPL with aspirations of clinching their first-ever title in the cash-rish T20 franchise league. They kick off their IPL 2024 campaign with an exciting match against the defending champions, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings.
RCB's first home game is against Punjab Kings on March 25, followed by a match against Kolkata Knight Riders at their home on March 29. On April 2, Lucknow Super Giants will visit the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, and RCB will then travel to Jaipur to face the Rajasthan Royals.
