Mayank's exceptional three-wicket haul, coupled with a display of top-notch pace bowling, dismantled the RCB top order, resulting in their second consecutive defeat at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 2 (Tuesday).

Mayank Yadav Too Hot To Handle For RCB Batters

The right-arm fast bowler showcased his prowess by dismissing the dangerous Glenn Maxwell with a thunderous delivery clocking at 151 kmph. Continuing his onslaught, Mayank outclassed another Aussie in Cameron Green with sheer pace, shattering his stumps before Green could even react with his bat. Additionally, Mayank accounted for Rajat Patidar’s wicket, who fell victim to a failed pull shot.

Mayank Yadav further solidified his reputation by setting a new record for the fastest delivery in IPL 2024, registering an astonishing speed of 156.7kph. His impressive debut against Punjab Kings (PBKS) saw him claim three wickets for 27 runs. Remarkably, Mayank achieved the notable feat of winning the Man of the Match award in both of his first two matches, cementing his status as a standout performer in the tournament.
