Rohit Sharma interview viral video: In the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match number 5, Gujarat Titans (GT) will face off against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, March 24, at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. Notably, both teams will introduce new captains for GT vs MI IPL 2024 match.

Mumbai Indians (MI) appointed Hardik Pandya as their captain, taking over from seasoned opener Rohit Sharma. Gujarat Titans (GT) will be led by rising star Shubman Gill.

Ahead of GT vs MI IPL 2024 match, ex-Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma talked about his preparations ahead of the tournament. He emphasized the importance of strategic planning, team cohesion, and individual player performances.

"For me, preparation has always been the key and that gives me a lot of confidence going into any game. There's lot of things that I do before a game and I think I have done almost everything now, just few things here and there which are left, which I will do now, and I will be ready for the game.

"A lot of the players that we got from the auction, were new faces, young players who have done well in domestic cricket as well international cricket. We are looking forward to that. Hopefully they can make a mark right from the beginning," Rohit said to the franchise.
