Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capital (DC) has confirmed that speedster Anrich Nortje will be missing the team's clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Both the teams will be locking horns in the evening fixture at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday but DC will take the field without Nortje who has return to South Africa due to personal reasons.
In an official statement on their social media handle, DC said that the Nortje will be flying back home and will be unavailable for their home match against RCB. Any clairty on the 29-year-old's return to India wasn't provided but seems like this will be a short stay in South Africa for Nortje who will come back before the team's next game.

DC has played nine matches in IPL 2023 so far with the Protean pace bowler being a part of the eight of those. It has been far from an ideal season for the team for DC who aur languishing at the bottom of the table as of now with six points from nine matches.
However, a positive way of looking at things for the team would be looking at just the recent few matches where they have picked up some form heading into the latter half. They have won three of their last four matches and are fresh off a 5-run victory over defending champions and table toppers Gujarat Titans which suggests that on their day they can beat any opponent.
