Ellyse Perry Gifted ‘Broken Window Glass’ By TATA After RCB's WPL Eliminator Win, Pic Goes Viral

Ellyse Perry's splendid effort helped RCB beat MI by 5 runs in WPL 2024 Eliminator.

Ellyse Perry, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star, had a special gift waiting for her at the post-match presentation ceremony after she was ajudged the Player of the Match in the WPL 2024 Eliminator against defending champions Mumbai Indians on Friday (March 15). Perry became the chief architect of Bangalore's win in the knockout clash, primarily for her performance with the bat as she scored 66 off 50 balls to guide Bangalore to 135/6 which eventually turned out to be enough.

Perry also had a role to play with the ball and completed her quota of 4 overs in a low-scoring encounter while conceding 29 runs and also managing to get rid of Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Yastika Bhatia. Once RCB won the match by 5 runs, there was no doubt that it was Perry who deseved to get the Player Of the Match recognition which she got. However,  there was a special gift for her in addition to  the cheque that is given after every match.

Tata Motors, the car manufacturing company, gave her a broken window of a car that had been damaged by one of her sixes during a league fixture. Notably, Perry had hit a six during the match against UP Warriorz that smashed the window of the car on display near the boundary ropes.

As a result of RCB's win over MI, they have now set up a clash with the Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 final where Perry is likely to play a key role once again.
