WPL 2023 Delhi vs Bangalore Fantasy Tips: Which Players Can Fetch Maximum Points

Delhi will face Bangalore for the second time in the inaugural season of the Women's Premier League at Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Monday. Last time when the two teams met each other it was Delhi who had sealed a comfortable win, beating Bangalore by 60 runs.

It has been a contrasting season so far for both these sides with Delhi facing just one defeat so far against table toppers Mumbai and Bangalore yet to taste a win in this competition having lost each of their four matches so far.  

While Bangalore would be desperate for a victory in this game it won't be easy against Delhi who have looked one of the better teams in the T20 tournament so far and have a multiple time World Cup winner at the helm of affairs.

Delhi vs Bangalore Fantasy Tips For Grand League (Low-Risk Options):

Wicketkeepers:  

Two-dimensional players who can help fetch a user with the bat both with the bat and with the glovework, stumpers are very important to Fantasy Cricket. Richa Ghosh was the only Indian to feature in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup team of the tournament and has shown her class in this league as well so it would be hard to look beyond her. Taniya Bhatia will be another player who can be considered for a place in the Fantasy side but she hasn't fetched much points so far to garner the confidence of the user.

Batters:

A lot of superb international players to choose from for this section of the Fantasy side. However, Smriti Madhana has just scored 80 runs from her four innings so far. Those going with the law of averages can go ahead and choose her especially since she bats up the order. But for the Fantasy XI suggested here, one has made current form as the most import criterion which makes the likes of Meg Lanning, Jemimah Rodrigues, Sophie Devine, Heather Knight and Shafali Verma have more chances of succeeding in this match.

All-rounders:

Ellyse Perry has been in great form for Bangalore and has been given her quota of 4 overs as well as a position in the top-order which makes one of the candidates users can consider for captaincy or vice-captaincy and so can be  Marizanne Kapp.  Jess Jonassen is another all-rounder who can be considered. Meanwhile, some of the players from batters could be listed under all-rounders in a few platforms like Heather Knight.

Bowlers:

Delhi's Tara Norris and Bangalore's Shikha Pandey have performed well in the Fantasy games so far should get the preference among other options like Radha Yadav and Shreyanka Patil.
