New Delhi: A scintillating knock from David Miller (94 runs off 51 balls) powered Hardik Pandya-less Gujarat Titans to a remarkable three-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings in a last-over thriller in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium on Sunday. With this win, Gujarat jumped to the number one position in the IPL 2022 Points Table. Gujarat has now won five out of six games in IPL 2022, while Chennai faced their fifth defeat from six games.

Chennai did not have a decent start as their in-form opener Robin Uthappa got out after scoring just three runs. He was dismissed by Mohammed Shami. After this, Moeen Ali, who came to bat at number three, also got away cheaply. He was dismissed by Alzarri Joseph for one run.
After Chennai lost two quick wickets for 32 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu shared a partnership of 92 runs for the third wicket.
Ravindra Jadeja ended CSK's knock in style as he returned unbeaten on 22 runs off 12 balls. For Gujarat, Alzarri Joseph took the maximum two wickets, while Yash Dayal and Mohammed Shami got one wicket apiece.
