'It's Not A Small Mistake...': Wasim Akram Lashes Out At Broadcasters For Messing Up Pak XI Vs India
Ind vs Pak: Pakistan's legendary pacer Wasim Akram was left furious after broadcasters flashed the wrong playing XI for Men in Green before the start of Ind vs Pak Asia Cup 2022 match.
India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022: Cricket teams of India and Pakistan are squaring off in the Asia Cup 2022 match being played in UAE's Dubai international cricket stadium. India won the toss and opted to bowl first at the very same venue where Pakistan had defeated them by 10 wickets in T20 World Cup 2021. Pakistan's legendary pacer Wasim Akram was left furious after broadcasters flashed the wrong playing XI for Men in Green before the start of Ind vs Pak Asia Cup 2022 match.
Akram himself admitted that Pakistan batting coach Mohammad Yousuf had made him aware of their playing XI vs India. However, he was left furious after broadcasters wrongly flashed Hasan Ali being picked over Shahnawaz Dahani in Pak's playing XI.
“I am very happy with the Pakistan XI. I wanted Shahnawaz Dahani...Hasan Ali is playing, Rauf is playing. I though Dahani is playing, but obviously he is not in the team. Guys are you sure this is the playing XI. Obviously I was wrong. I was told by Yousuf that Dahani is playing. So if the batting coach does not know there is something wrong somewhere," he said.

"Don't keep me happy, keep that guy happy who is putting the wrong team out there guys. It's a big game, it's not a small mistake. It's fine now," he added.
