India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022: Mark your calendars because Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team will take on arch-rivals Pakistan later this month at the Asia Cup 2022 on 28th August. The 2022 edition of the much-awaited event, hosted by Sri Lanka Cricket Board, will be played in the United Aram Emirates (UAE) from 27th August to 11th September. India will be playing a T20 International match against Pakistan since their ICC T20 World Cup 2021 match.
On Tuesday, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah took to Twitter to release the official schedule for Asia Cup 2022. "The wait is finally over as the battle for Asian supremacy commences on 27th August with the all-important final on 11th September. The 15th edition of the Asia Cup will serve as ideal preparation ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup," Shah wrote on Twitter.

India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan plus a team through qualifiers will be part of the Asia Cup 2022. Asia Cricket Council (ACC) has chosen Dubai and Sharjah for this tournament, where a total of 13 matches, including the final, are to be played in a span of 16 days.
