IND vs AUS: Team India's star batter Shubman Gill, after being benched for first two Tests, failed to make an impact in third Test but delivered his best in the ongoing Ind vs Aus Ahmedabad Test. The talented youngster, on Day 3 of Ind vs Aus 4th Test, scored a scintillating ton against Australia. As Gill reached the triple-digit score, everyone in the Indian camp gave a standing ovation and applauded him.

Shubman Gill walked back to the pavilion after scoring 128 runs. It was a good length delivery from senior Aussie spinner Nathan Lyon that came in sharp and the young opener took that on his pads.
Shubman Gill was included in India's Test squad for Border-Gavaskar Trophy after he scored his maiden Test ton in Bangladesh series. However, the team management sidelined him for 1st two Tests, backing under-fire KL Rahul.

Following KL Rahul's back-to-back failures against Australia in first couple of matches, Shubman Gill was included in India XI for last two Tests. After Rohit Sharma's early exit, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara fought back by stitching a solid 113-run stand. Pujara was dismissed for 42 while Gill departed for 128. Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja are currently batting on crease, trying to build another good partnership for the hosts. Batting first, Australia scored 480 runs.
