New Delhi: Indian cricket team's star batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma took out time to meet Sri Lankan cricket team's super fan Gayan Senanayake in Dubai a day after India's win over Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2022 match at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. Senanayake is popular among the cricket community for being one of the most loyal fans and a true supporter of the Sri Lankan national team. He is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for Asia Cup to support Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma-led India defeated Pakistan by five wickets in their Asia Cup 2022 match played on Sunday at Dubai international cricket stadium. India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya played a stormy innings including a six in the thrilling last over to help the Men in Blue seal the deal. Pakistan had given a target of 148 runs to India after batting first, which India achieved in the final over.
