New Delhi: Two of world cricket's fiercest rivals will battle it out for a place in the finals of the ICC Under 19 World Cup when India and Pakistan lock horns in the semifinals of the showpiece event later in the afternoon at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom . The match is scheduled to commence at 1:30 pm (IST) with the toss at 1 pm. While defending champions India trounced Australia by 74 runs to secure a place in the semifinals, Pakistan got the better of Afghanistan to make it to the last four. Both the sub continent giants have registered impresssive wins over their opponents in the group stages to stake a deserving berth in the business end of the tournament. India have been the most succesful team in the ICC Under 19 World Cup winning the showpiece event on four ocassions in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018. Meanwhile Pakistan have laid hands on the coveted trophy twice in 2004 and 2006.
