'You Can See': Rasmus Hojlund Reflects On Bond With Teammate Garnacho Amidst Recent Criticism
Rasmus Hojlund reflects on positive chemistry with teammate Alejandro Garnacho on the field. Read below.
Manchester United Vs West Ham United: Rasmus Hojlund has had a mixed run of form in the 2023-24 season as his dismal run in the Premier League is finally seeing a turn in fortunes as the Danish striker is amongst the goals at turn of the calendar year. The 21-year old striker came in the summer of the 2023 transfer window at the Old Trafford, having a chip on his shoulder of being the next big thing. However, amindst the goal scoring drought and criticism from a major section of the experts, he hasn't let the talk affect his determination as early struggles seemed to have been shrugged off and the wheels are finally in place for the young sensation.
Not only Hojlund, but academy product Alejandro Garnacho has been slandered left, right, and centre for his 'not so amusing' attitude, both, on and off the field. The 19-year old Argentinian is also a subject to online hatred as he though belongs to the birth country of 'La Pulga' Lionel Messi, he publicly calls Cristiano Ronaldo as the G.O.A.T., which isn't taken fondly by the Argentinians, who always seem to have undying loyalty and devotion towards probably the greatest football player ever, Lionel Messi.
The duo has recently found much-needed form and rhythm as they have come pegging back with goals and performances to shush the critics and have lately formed a beautiful partnership on the pitch. The duo did the talking with their footballing abilitues in their impressive 3-0 victory over West Ham United on Sunday, February 4, as Hojlund scored one and Garnacho bagged in a brace.
🔴 Rasmus Højlund: “I remember just a month ago, there was a lot of talk about me and Garnacho not scoring enough goals…”.
