Spanish forward and wonderkid Lamine Yamal celebrates his birthday, as the FC Barcelona prodigy turns 17 today. The right-winger has lit the stage at this year's Euro's, as the ever-rising stock of La Masia product is taking no stopping. Spain are in the final of Euro 2024 and are all set to take on England for the all-elusive trophy.

Lamine Yamal's Historic Euro 2024 Campaign

Lamine Yamal was already tipped to be special but no one expected him to be THAT special, as the 17-year old became the youngest player ever to feature in the Round of 16, Quarter finals, Semi Finals, and most probably, the Final of Euros.

Not only this, when Spain were stunned via an early setback through Kolo Muani, Lamine Yamal stepped up, as his immense footwork wrong-footed Adrien Rabiot and struck one thunderous effort outside the box from far out in the middle, into the top left corner of France's goal, which richocheted off the post and went in and with that, he became the youngest ever goal scorer in Euro's history.

Lamine Yamal is already level with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo for number of assists in the knockout stages of Euro's, as both the players have two assists each. What makes this fact even more astonishing is the fact that it took Ronaldo 6 Euro championships to attain the feet, while Lamine Yamal did it in his first ever Euro's.
