Sri Lanka lost Mathews' wicket in the second over this morning, playing ahead of their overnight score of 229 for four. Anderson sent him back to the pavilion, stopping him to not add many runs to Sri Lanka's overnight total. Mark Wood dismissed debutant Ramesh Mendis for a duck.
