Cristiano Ronaldo Smashes Fan's Phone After Man Utd Loses Crucial PL Game, Apologies Later - WATCH Video

Everton Vs Man United: Cristiano Ronaldo's 'outburst' goes viral after Ralf Rangnick's Manchester United loses to a 17th placed Everton. Watch the video below.

Premier League: Cristiano Ronaldo has apologised to fans after he appeared to smash a mobile phone post-full time at Goodison Park. Manchester United faced a decisive loss against a 17th placed Everton. Anthony Gordan's shot took a wicked deflection off Utd skipper, Harry Maguire to grant Everton the only goal of the match in the 27th minute.

It was a long struggle of nearly 96 minutes for Ralf Rangnick's men as they could not net even a single goal past Jordan Pickford, the goal-keeper of Everton (and England). United have now fallen down to the seventh position & six points behind the fourth-placed Tottenham after the 1-0 loss at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

A squad built with roughly €1.2billion is facing a serious threat of not qualifying for the Europa League, let alone the Champions League, next season. Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United forward could not hide his frustration as he knocked off a fan's phone while walking back in the tube at full-time at Everton vs ManU.

The video that was first posted by 'Everton Hub' was soon picked up by major media outlets. The fans are shocked and angry looking at Ronaldo's reaction. Nonetheless, Cristiano has apologised and invited the fan to watch a game at Old Trafford in Manchester.

A few other videos also came out, which showed a different angle of what took place at the Stadium.

“It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing,” Ronaldo said. “Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.
