Star India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal paid a surprise visit to his wife Dhanashree Verma on the sets of Reality dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 11. Notably, Chahal's wife Dhanashree is currently participating as a wildcard contestant on the show. Picture of Chahal spotted on the sets also went viral on social media, with several fans praising him for extending support to his wife.

No Yuzvendra Chahal In India's Squad For Three-Match T20I Series Against Afghanistan
Meanwhile, Chahal failed to find a place for himself in India's three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. The squad witnessed the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the T20 scheme of things for the first time since India's T20 World Cup semifinal defeat to England in 2022. However, Chahal continues to remain on the sidelines. The Rajasthan Roayals spinner is the highest wicket-taker in the IPL after he surpassed Dwayne Bravo to achieve the record but has time and again been left out of India's recent ICC events. Even when he has made the squad, he hasn't quite managed to be a regular member of the Playing 11.
Chahal's form in domestic cricket as well as the IPL 2024 could pave a way for his comeback into the T20 squad ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.
