'Ye Club Ka Mazza Alag Hai' - Rohit Sharma Greets Ishan Kishan Post His Double Century

Ishan Kishan got an opportunity to play in the game after captain Rohit Sharma was ruled out due to a thumb injury in the second ODI.

New Delhi: India's pocket dynamo Ishan Kishan scored a double century in the third and final ODI match against Bangladesh on Saturday. Ishan hit 200 runs in just 126 balls, breaking Chris Gayle's record of scoring a double ton in 138 balls. With this knock, the young Indian batsman becomes the seventh person in the world and fourth from India after Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, and Virender Sehwag to achieve this milestone.

Post his record-breaking knock, India’s skipper Rohit Sharma took to his Instagram handle and wrote,  "Ye club ka mazza alag hai." The double century has made Ishan the highest run-getter in an inning by a visiting batsman in Bangladesh. Australia's Shane Watson held the record after he scored 185* in 2011.
