Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) claimed the title last season by defeating Delhi Capitals in the final.

Gujarat Titans will enter Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 mini-auction with the largest purse, holding Rs 4.4 crore to fill four slots. UP Warriors follow with Rs 3.9 crore available, while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has Rs 3.25 crore in their purse, aiming to acquire four players.

Mumbai Indians are fourth on the list with Rs 2.65 crore, and Delhi Capitals have the smallest budget heading into the auction.

RCB's historic win in WPL 2024:

Royal Challengers Bangalore made a strong statement in the 2024 Women's Premier League, claiming their first-ever title. Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the final. Alyssa Perry played a very important role in RCB's victory, finishing as the tournament's top run-scorer with 347 runs.

RCB's win in Women's Premier League was particularly special as it marked the franchise's first-ever title. This victory stood out even more considering that the men's team, despite boasting a star-studded lineup year after year, has yet to secure an IPL title.
