'PSL Cannot Be Compared To IPL,' Says Usman Khawaja While Responding To Pakistani Media

Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has termed IPL as the best league in the world. He has said one cannot compare PSL to IPL.

When a Pakistani journalist asked him a question related to the comparison of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he responded by saying that the IPL is the best league in the world. He said that PSL cannot be compared with IPL.

 

Khawaja said, "PSL is a world-class league but there is no doubt that IPL is the best league in the world. There is really no match here (IPL and PSL) because in the end players from all over the world go there (IPL) and that is the only league in which Indian players play. That's why the discussion of the best league ends here. However, there are many T20 cricket leagues like PSL, BBL, and CPL, they are quality leagues and everyone wants to play in them."

 

PSL has often been compared to the IPL. Many former Pakistan cricketers have been calling PSL an equivalent of IPL. This time during PSL it was being said that it is as thrilling as IPL. There was a huge crowd in the stadium during the PSL matches. The PSL matches were also quite interesting and entertaining. That's why PSL 2022 was compared with the IPL.

 

Lahore Qalandars become the champion of PSL 2022. 

This time the PSL title was won by Lahore Qalandars. Under the captaincy of Shaheen Afridi, Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans by 42 runs in the final. The hero of the final match was 41-year-old Mohammad Hafeez. Hafeez scored 69 off 46 balls in the final. At the same time, he also took 2 wickets for just 23 runs.
