New Delhi: Birsabne Heat all-rounder Deandra Dottin has been rushed to the hospital after an on-field collision with teammate Laura Harris in the Women’s Big Bash League match against Melbourne Stars at Brisbane.

The incident took place in the 11th over of the Melbourne Stars innings when a Meg Lanning shot landed in between the two fielders in the deep mid-wicket region.

Dottin and Harris both went for the ball to stop it from reaching the boundary and collided with each other. Dottin’s head struck a kit-bag kept beside the boundary rope and left her in great discomfort.

She was stretchered off the field. Harris however, recovered from the collision.
