WATCH: 'Virat Kohli And You'- Haris Rauf To Babar Azam On His Dream Wickets

Haris Rauf and Babar Azam had an interesting conversation after a PSL match where the speedster opened up on his dream wickets.

Former India captain Virat Kohli is undeniably one of the Greatest Of All Times (GOAT). The right-handed batter did have a slump in form after the COVID-19 break but is back to scoring runs in white-ball cricket to remove any doubt whatsoever regarding his status as one of the greats. Even as he looks to get back into form in Test match cricket, there is no denying the legacy he has already left as a leader and a batter in the longest format.

One player who is constantly compared to Kohli despite being six years younger to his is Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who too, much like Kohli has scored consistently in all three formats of the game. However, he would have to do it for as long as Kohli has done to be able to get in the same league as the ex-Indian skipper.

The two batters though are dream wickets for several bowlers around the world. But in a funny exchange during the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Men in Green speedster Haris Rauf revealed that his dream dismissals would be that of Virat Kohli and Babar as well. When Babar asks why doesn't he consider his wicket in the nets, Haris replied that those don't count as he wants to get him out in a match.

It is pertinent to note Kohli's shot of Rauf with 28 needed from 8 balls in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 was rated as the 'greatest single T20 shot of all time.' It wasn't such a bad ball but Kohli's connection was sublime as he trusted his strength to clear the straight boundary and ended producing a spectacle for all the fans at the stadium and those watching on Television around the world.

Kohli followed it with another six to bring India back into the match and the Rohit Sharma-led team went on to pull a victory from the jaws of defeat in that fixture, winning by 4 wickets off the last ball. Kohli  played one of the innings of his life and remained unbeaten on 82 off 53.
