New Delhi: There are catches, there are some good catches and then there are extra-ordinary catches. India’s star player Rohit Sharma pulled a stunner, defying gravity to turn the series finale in India’s favour and help the hosts to lift their first-ever T20 series against New Zealand.

India had a tough task of defending a modest 67-run target and New Zealand power hitter, Colin Munro had already made his intentions clear by smashing Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 8 runs in the first over.

But, India’s T20 specialist Jasprit Bumrah had some different plans to tackle the left-hander. The 23-year-old frustrated Munro with two dots in the beginning of second over and forced him to play a big shot on the 3rd delivery but at the same time he reduced the pace. Munro, on the other hand, failed to connect and a slower delivery kept the ball in the air for few seconds. Rohit, who was stationed at the mid-on, ran behind to grab a sensational catch.
