New Delhi: West Indies cricket never fails to produce batting stars. Throughout its history, that is one thing which has remained constant. A new and exciting face has suddenly appeared on the horizon. A face which no one expected to emerge.

Rahkeem Cornwall is the latest cricketing Sensation. The 140 kg player has the natural ability to smash the ball hard and clinch wickets in crucial situations. 

West Indies cricket unleashed Cornwall during WICB XI's warm-up match against England, where he hit 59 runs to take the hosts to comfortable total of 223.

Rahkeem announced himself to the cricketing world with his brilliant fifty but his innings for Leeward Islands changed his fortunes forever. The 6'5" tall fired 74 runs to help his team single-handedly win in domestic cricket.

Cornwall is a hard-hitting right arm batsman and off-spinner. Despite his big-hitting there is long-term worries the Antiguan will not make the most of his talents due to his weight.
