IND vs AUS Boxing Day Test: Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were in good rhythm but unbeaten 55-run partnership between Nathan Lyon and Scott Boland moved Australia's lead over 330 runs.
IND vs AUS Boxing Day Test: India staged a stellar fightback on Day 4 (December 29, Sunday) of the India vs Australia 4th Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) as the visitors had reduced Australia to 91-6 at one point on Day 4 but partnerships between Marnus Labuschagne and Pat Cummins, and then Scott Boland and Nathan Lyon pushed Australia's lead over 330 runs in their second innings as the hosts ended Day 4 at 228-9. It remains to be seen if Australia will bat on Day 5 but in any case, Rohit Sharma and Co. will need over 330 runs to win the MCG Test and take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
Jasprit Bumrah breathed fire yet again as he picked four wickets in the innings. He got rid of the first-innings half-centurion Sam Konstas and then followed it up with the wickets of Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh and Alex Cary, all in quick successions, to drive India back into the game after conceding a 105-run lead. He also etched his name in the history books as he became the fastest Indian pacer to take 200 Test wickets.

Mohammed Siraj, having been wicketless in the first innings, also turned it around as he bowled in better areas prizing out the crucial wickets of Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne.
Once at 91-6, Labuschagne formed a crucial 57-run partnership with captain Pat Cummins and then Scott Boland and Nathan Lyon formed an unbeaten 55-run partnership for the 10th wicket to take Australia's lead over 330 runs, much to India's frustration.
