There is hardly any doubt that cricket enjoys the distinction of being the most popular sport in the country. It is often regarded as a religion in this part of the world. The video has seemingly been taken from a live streaming footage and the team names suggests the age criterion of the players. While the fielder in question gives it his all to try and stop the ball from going past the boundary, eventually the ball deflects off his leg and go for a four.

The video has left netizens in splits with some hilarious reactions coming in. "Jonty Rhodes in a parallel universe," wrote one user. "This is Stand up Jonty," said another use. Several others left laughing emojis on the comment section.

Notably, the former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes is widely regarded as one of the greatest fielders of all time that international sport has witnessed. Users on social media made hilarious comments comparing the fielding effort of the man in video to Rhodes.
