New Delhi: Known for his toe crushing Yorkers, ‘Slinga’ Malinga is one of the most feared bowlers across the globe. His accuracy and variations are enough to destroy any batting order in the world. But, the pacer, on Sunday, caused nightmares with his never seen before avatar.

Malinga put his spin bowling abilities on display as the 34-year-old turned to off-spin in a domestic match and returned with impressive figure of 3/22.

In an attempt to end his spell quickly, Malinga avoided long run ups and instead stuck to spin bowling. The former Lankan captain was also delighted to clinch wickets in an unusual role.

Spnning a web of deceit, Malinga had superb match as he led Teejay Lanka to the title victory against LB Finance in a rain shortened encounter.
