Fans lash out at umpire Gaffaney after poor umpiring cost Gayle his wicket
The commentators noticed during the replays that the ball before Gayle got dismissed, Aussie speedster Starc had bowled a big no ball, but shockingly the on-field umpire, Chris Gaffaney missed it.

Chris Gaffaney is the worst umpire. It seemed that he had a personal vendetta against Chris Gayle. Horrible umpiring #AUSvWI #CWC19

Chris Gaffaney is the same umpire who once raised his finger to give #cheteshwarpujara out and ended up with scratching his head in an IndiaVs.Aus test match. Today, he upsets #chrisgayle . Pathetic umpiring at this level. #CWC19 #WIvsAUS #CricketWorldCup2019 pic.twitter.com/cG7wdSUjLT

@ICC @cricketworldcup umpiring at it's worst. All decisions are going wrong. Ball before @henrygayle dismissal was a no ball, but not given, it was supposed to be a free hit on which he got dismissed. #AUSvWI #chrisgayle #WorldCup2019 #WC19 pic.twitter.com/69ZIA7UFTk

Mitchell Starc grabbed five wickets for 46 runs in a brilliant show of fast bowling as he ripped through the Windies lower order to give the defending champions Australia their second win in the 2019 ICC World Cup on Thursday. Sent into bat, Nathan Coulter-Nile (92 from 60 balls) played a blinder of an innings, taking cue from a dogged fight back by Steve Smith (73 from 103 balls), as Australia recovered from 38 for 4 to post a competitive 288 all out in 49 overs. Is this the good way to start the #WorldCup ? Is this the way to conduct the major tournament like @cricketworldcup under @ICC ? This was very poor decisions by the umpires & effects on good teams. @CricketAus @henrygayle @BrianLara @bhogleharsha @HaydosTweets @SGanguly99 pic.twitter.com/HVBbLhtaOG
