WATCH: De Villiers slams Shami for hat-trick of sixes; last one landed on stadium roof

A total of 64 runs came in the final three overs that guided RCB to a 202-run total in 20 overs

AB de Villiers may have had bid adieu to international cricket but he still has ample of fuel left in the tank. His 360-degree show compels the crowd to erupt in joy and the same thing was witnessed at Bengaluru when the former South African slammed the Kings XI Punjab bowlers all around the park. Sent in to bat first, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had a dream start but the early of departure of RCB captain altered the momentum. They went on to lose 3 more batters within 9 overs. Meanwhile, De Villiers maintained his cool and played some decent cricket to bring back the situation on track. As soon as he found the comfort zone, he unleashed the beast in himself and caused havoc at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. And then came the 19th over when the Protea hard-hitter slammed a hat-trick of sixes to Mohammed Shami. The KXIP camp looked totally clueless while the crowd started chanting ABD-ABD in unison. Here’s the video: Over 18.3: Shami to de Villiers, SIX. A wider outside off and de Villiers lofts it over long-off. Over 18.4: Shami to de Villiers, SIX. An action replay off the previous ball which gets a similar treatment. Over 18.5: Shami to de Villiers, SIX.  This one landed on the roof, flying over the long leg. The carnage didn’t just stop there itself. De Villiers slammed another on the first ball of the last over and then Stoinins took the charge. The Aussie all-rounder went on to slam two fours and as many sixes. AB remained unbeaten on 82 while Stoinins scored 46 not out. A total of 64 runs came in the final three overs that guided RCB to a 202-run total in 20 overs.
