Laxman Got On Board Due To Ganguly
The post of NCA chief was vacant after Rahul Dravid became the head coach of the Indian team. Speculations were ripe about Laxman's involvement, but there was no answer from the batsman's side. Sources tell that Laxman agreed to take up this responsibility after a lot of persuasion by BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.
Laxman was currently the mentor of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team
VVS Laxman, who was known for his stylish batting, was still doing the commentary and he also had the responsibility of mentoring the IPL franchise, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. He has been carrying out this responsibility for many years.
Fans are happy to have Dravid, Laxman, and Ganguly together in the BCCI administration. Some are calling it a dawn of a new era. The players currently at the helm of affairs at BCCI were once great cricketers.
