Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir were spotted with a BJP Leader at the Delhi Airport after the IND vs BAN 1st Test.
Virat Kohli, who recently made a return to Test cricket after featuring in India's 1st Test against Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, was spotted at the Delhi airport after the hosts wrapped up the first game inside four days. Kohli was not along as Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir was also spotted at the Delhi Aiport with both of them getting clicked with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mithilesh Kumar Katheria.
The politician himself took to microblogging website X to share pictures of himself with Kohli and Gambhir. He congratulated the two on India's win in Chennai which has given them a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

"Today I had a hearty meeting with the great batsman of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli and the Head Coach of the Indian team Gautam Gambhir at the New Delhi Airport and extended my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the victory in the first Test match against Bangladesh," he wrote.

India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test Scheduled In Kanpur
Notably, the Indian players are on a bit off a break and will regroup again ahead of the second Test against Banglaldesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Test cricket will return to Kanpur for the first time since 2021 with the IND vs BAN fixture scheduled to commence on September 27.

Kohli has had a poor run in home Test matches and would like to end that with a big score in hundred moving ahead with 9 more Tests scheduled in the season for Rohit Sharma & Co. The home series against Bangladesh for Team India is also the first red-ball assignment for head coach Gautam Gambhir.
