U19 World Cup: India To Face Australia, Afghanistan To Play England In Semi-Finals Today | Preview

U19 World Cup: In the quarter-final, India defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets and eased their way through to the semi-final of the U19 WC. Now India will face Australia U19.

U19 World Cup: It is going to be a double-header Semi-final at the U-19 WC on Tuesday. A spirited Indian side will face the strong Australian side in one semi-final while England will face a surprising opponent - Afghanistan. 

India U19 vs Australia U19 will be played at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. On the other hand, England U19 vs Afghanistan U19 will be played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

Both the matches will be live on Disney+Hotstar from 6:30 pm IST.

In the quarter-final, India defeated Bangladesh by 5 wickets and eased their way through to the semi-final of the U19 WC.

This win completed India's sweet revenge over Bangladesh, against whom India had lost in the final of the previous edition of the U19 World Cup. 

On the other hand, Australia eased past Pakistan in the quarter-final, while England won a close match against South Africa. The surprising team, Afghanistan, defeated Sri Lanka while defending a score of just 135 runs. 

India has won the most - four - World Cups in U19 cricket. Australia has won two while England has also won the inaugural U19 World Cup. 

"Our team combination has been very good and the boys are gelling well. Whenever someone is down, we all get together to bring them up. It is a lifetime experience here. The team is improving day by day," Yash Dhull, Indian captain told ANI.
