Virat Kohli net worth: Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday morning to let his fans know that the reports regarding his earning from social media are 'not true'. For the past few days, several media reports have surfaced on the internet, claiming that the modern day batting legend earns INR 11.45 crore for every sponsored post he shares on Instagram. Apart from representing India in cricket at the highest level, Virat endorses multiple brands and has millions of followers on social media.

"While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true,” Kohli wrote on X.

According to a report from Hopper HQ, now vehemently quashed by Virat Kohli himself, stated that the star Indian cricketer stands 14th on the top 20 list for 2023 of highest-earning celebrities on Instagram with Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo leading the list, followed by FIFA World Cup winner Lionel Messi.
