'India Could Be On The Way Out Of This World Cup' Says Michael Vaughan After India's Batting Debacle
T20 World Cup: He blamed India's debacle on the "mindset & approach" shown by the Indian players. If India loses on Sunday, they will be practically thrown out of the WC!
India Vs New Zealand: India got off a worse-possible start to their innings against New Zealand on Sunday. Despite much talk about scoring more runs, Indian top-order batsmen failed to have an impact. Former England skipper, Michael Vaughan has come out and said that India "could be on the way out of this World Cup".
He blamed India's debacle on the "mindset & approach" shown by the Indian players. "India could be on the way out of this #T20WorldCup .. the mindset & approach with all that talent so far has been so wrong #India," tweeted Vaughan.
After 10 overs, India's score was 48/3, which is one of the lowest scores that India has scored in the first 10. Virat Kohli also got out trying to scoop one over long-on.
Take a look at Vaughan's tweet:

How logical are Vaughan's claims?
Only two out of the six teams in Group 2 can go through the semis. India will have to win four out of the four remaining matches to secure a semi-final berth. Thus, Sunday's match is going to be like a quarter-final for India.
Another reason for stating this is the fact that New Zealand plays Afghanistan, Scotland, and Namibia after Sunday's match, who are relatively easier opponents, thus, if NZ wins against India, the road to the semis would become smooth.
So, if India loses on Sunday, they will be practically thrown out of the WC!
