On the first ball of the last over, with South Africa needing 16 runs to win, Hardik Pandya bowled a wide full-toss to David Miller. Miller managed a powerful hit towards long-off, where Suryakumar Yadav was stationed. Yadav sprinted to his left, catching the ball just before it could cross the boundary, skillfully avoiding stepping on the cushions.
