The fourth edition of this tournament is scheduled to begin from February 14, 2019, in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Smith hasn’t represented his nation ever since being handed a one-year ban following his involvement in the infamous ball-tampering scandal against South Africa during Cape Town Test. He recently appeared in the inaugural edition of the Canada Global T20 along with his band teammate David Warner. He also participated in Sydney Premier Cricket for Sutherland.

He also played a few matches in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) but later, he had to quit his participation fas he sustained an abdominal strain. He has to return home following the incident.
