SRH Captain Aiden Markram Ties Knot With Long-Time Girlfriend Nicole, Pictures Go Viral
Aiden Markram, who was appointed captain of SRH ahead of IPL 2023, married his long-time girlfriend Nicole on Saturday.
Aiden Markram, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH captain and South African star, married his long-time girlfriend Nicole on Saturday (July 22). The two tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by their close friends and relatives. While the Protean star had put on a beige suit, Nicole was dressed in her traditional white wedding gown. It is pertinent to note that the couple had been dating for ten years before getting getting engaged last year.
Nicole announced her wedding to the 28-year-old cricketer on her Instagram account, where she posted a photo of them sharing a kiss to confirm the joyful news. She captioned the post: "Mr & Mrs."

Meanwhile, several members of the cricket fraternity wishes the couple well. Former South African speedster Vernon Philander left a comment on the post which read: "Congrats guys. Many years of happiness and just love your way. God bless you both,” he wrote.

Talking about his international cricket career, Markram represented South Africa in 35 Tests, 50 ODIs and 34 T20Is. He has accumulated 2285 runs, 1440 runs and 966 runs respectively in all the three formats. Markram was appointed the captain of SRH ahead of the 2023 season but the Orange Army did not have a very good season finishing last on the 10-team table. With the bat too Markram failed to leave an impact, playing 13 matches in the sesason and scoring 248 runs with a highest-score of 50. He also scalped a solitary wicket with the ball.
