Indian Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma has made headlines for good reasons, as the 'Hitman' gives his lifelong fan a fond memory. The Indian batsman was present at the Adelaide Oval, as Team India were playing a two-day Practice Test against Prime Minister XI before their 2nd Test match against Australia at the same venue.
India ended up winning the match by 6 wickets and after the match, the 37-year-old went towards the fans in attendance. While signing autographs for them, an Indian fan screamed, "Rohit Bhai please....please bhai.... 10 saal ho gaye yaar" (Please Rohit, it's been 10 years), as he was desperate to get his much-awaited autograph from Rohit Sharma.
The Indian captain responded to it with a smile and gave that fan his autograph, and therefore, ended his 10-year-old quest for the same.

India Aimimg To Make It 2-0 In Adelaide
India is currently leading the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 series 1-0 after winnning the historic Test match at Optus Stadium in Perth, where they haded Australia their first-ever Test defeat at the venue.
However, it was at the Adelaide Oval last time around, when India recorded their lowest-ever Test score, as the Pat Cummins-inspired side dismantled the then Indian batting line-up for merely 36 runs.
Fast forward 4 years, and India are on a whole different momentum and run. Fresh from winning the T20 World Cup 2024, the nation ended it's 11-year wait for an ICC trophy, and followed that up with topsy-turvy form across all formats, where they recorded historic series defeats to Sri Lanka and New Zealand in ODI's and Tests respectively.
Rohit Sharma's form will be a big concern for the side, as his latest knock saw him register merely 3 runs against Prime Minister XI, and the Indian fans will be hoping that their 'Hitman' returns to form in red-ball cricket.
