Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: Allu Arjun Appears Before Chikkadpally Police

Allu Arjun appeared before the Chikkadpally Police Station as part of the conditions set by a city court while granting him regular bail in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.

Tollywood actor Allu Arjun complied with the conditions set by a city court when he reported to the Chikkadpally Police Station in Hyderabad on Sunday morning, January 5, 2025. On January 3, the actor was released on regular bail in relation to the Sandhya Theatre stampede that resulted in a woman's death at the premiere of his movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

Allu Arjun showed up at the police station at around 10:30 AM to finish the procedures that the court had mandated. The police had made elaborate security arrangements in anticipation of a large crowd.

According to the court's orders, the actor must appear before the Station House Officer (SHO) of Chikkadpally police station every Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm for a period of two months or till the filing of the charge sheet, whichever comes first.

Apart from providing weekly reports, the court has ordered Arjun to get permission before leaving the country and to refrain from changing his residence address without notifying the court.

As per a report by PTI, the SHO of Ramgopalpet Police Station suggested that the actor rethink his intention to visit the hospital to see the little child who is now receiving treatment for injuries he acquired during the stampede. Citing the high level of public interest in the case, officials cautioned that the visit shouldn't interfere with hospital operations or have an impact on other patients. As a result, Arjun decided to cancel his hospital appointment.
