Rohit Sharma on Hardik Pandya: Team India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has not bowled in recent matches. He did not bowl in the warm-up matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL)-14 and T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, Team India star batsman Rohit Sharma gave an update about Hardik Pandya on Wednesday. He said Hardik has not started bowling in the nets but is expected to start bowling soon and will be available to bowl in the Super 12 matches of the World Cup. 

After the toss in the warm-up match against Australia on Wednesday, Rohit Sharma said that Hardik will take some time to start bowling. He has not started bowling but he should be ready at any time during the tournament. Rohit said that in such a big tournament you always want to ensure that a player is 100% fit.

Hopefully, he will start bowling soon. It may be noted that Rohit Sharma was captaining Team India in this match against Australia. The Indian team won the match by 8 wickets. 

Shardul has been added to the 15 player squad. 

There is suspense over Hardik's bowling, and that is why Shardul Thakur, who has been among the reserve players for the World Cup, has been added to the 15 player squad. Shardul has replaced spinner Axar Patel. India will have to complete the search for a substitute for the sixth bowler. Rohit said, "We want to make sure that we get the sixth bowling option and get some options in the batting order".
