Rahul Dravid Cheers For New York Yankees In Baseball Game After India's Win Over Ireland In T20 World Cup 2024: Team India head coach was spotted enjoying a game of baseball after IND vs IRE fixture.

Rahul Dravid would be a happy man with the way Team India started their ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Wednesday (June 5). The Men in Blue won the toss and elected to bowl first, bowling the Irish side out for 96. While Jasprit Bumrah was at his lethal best, finishing with figures of 2/6 off his 3 overs, Hardik Pandya (3/27 off his 4 overs) and Arshdeep Singh (2/35 off his 3) were equally impressive.

In response, even though India did lose Virat Kohli, who had come out to open along with Rohit Sharma, early, India chased down the target with 46 balls remaining. Captain Rohit Sharma top-scored with 52 off 37 while Rishabh Pant scored 36* off 26 as India handed a 8-wicket defeat to the Irish. Bumrah was adjudged the Player Of the Match.
