Prithvi Shaw's Sharp Response To Troller For Body Shaming Him Goes Viral

India’s young batter Prithvi Shaw was mocked by a user on social media for his below-average fitness. But then the Mumbai-based player came up with a solid reply after he was body-shamed. Shaw posted a picture of him on his social media handle and informed that he would be joining Northamptonshire County Cricket Club for the Royal London One Day Cup in England. Just under the post, one of the users trolled Shaw over his poor physical appearance by saying that he required to gain fitness like Virat Kohli. Shaw in reply said that he would stick to his orders immediately.

The 23-year-old batter was in brilliant form during the ongoing Royal London One Day Cup 2023, hitting a double hundred and a century for Northamptonshire. However, Shaw was ruled out of the tournament after he sustained a knee injury while fielding during a match against Durham. As per the scan results, the injury was serious and he had to withdraw from the remainder of his tenure with the cricket club.
The opener batter is undergoing treatment in the United Kingdom and he is likely to miss out on the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well as the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Shaw collected 429 runs at an average of 143.00 from four matches in the ongoing ODI tournament. Ahead of playing for Northamptonshire in the Royal London One Day Cup, Shaw was sure that his county debut would be amazing.
"It’s a great opportunity for me and I’m really thankful to Northamptonshire for giving me this chance to express myself here," Shaw said.
"It’s going to be amazing I think and I’m really looking forward to it."
