New Delhi: It was a painful day for Pakistan fast bowler Junaid Khan and his family as he lost his first child on Thursday but thankfully his wife was is fine and recovering in the hospital. The reason behind the child’s death is yet to be revealed by the cricketer. 


Junaid tweeted about the incident this morning. “Worst day in my life I have lost my first baby but with the grace of Allah my wife health is good and she is doing better now. Thanks, Allah,” Junaid wrote on his twitter handle.



Later in the day, Junaid thanked everyone for praying for his wife’s health.


“Thank you each and everyone for praying for my wife, keep remembering me and my wife in your duas....,” he said.



A day ago, Junaid had shared the news about his wife’s hospitalization on social media and asked everyone to pray for her.


“Salam to All! My wife is admitted in hospital... I request you all to pray for my wife's health and long life...,” he tweeted.



Junaid last played for Pakistan in 2015. Currently, he is playing in the ongoing Pakistan Cricket Cup for Balochistan. So far, he has played two matches for his side taking 2/28 and 0/54 against Punjab and Sindh. He also had a good time in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) playing for Peshawar Zalmi.
