USA vs PAK, T20 World Cup 2024: Pakistan succumbed to a horror defeat against the United States (USA) in their first-ever T20 World Cup 2024 match in Dallas. While Pakistan and India were favourites to proceed to the Super 8 stage of the tournament from Group A, following the Men in Green's defeat to the newcomers at this level of the sport, the group is now open with Pakistan even at the risk of an early elimination.

Following their disastorous performance against USA where their sloppy effort cost them the game, it is now being revealed that the team had a 'gala dinner' planned a day after the match. However, post their defeat, it now stands cancelled. The information was disclosed by former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif through a post he shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Pakistan To Lock Horns Against India With On June 9

After their defeat against USA, Pakistan would now be gearing up for their match against India. Their best chance of qualification to the next round of the T20 World Cup 2024 is if they somehow manage to beat the Men in Blue, currently the top-ranked T20I team in the world.

India, meanwhile, beat Ireland in a clinical performance in New York. They would be determined to take on arch-rivals Pakistan and better their already impressive record against them in T20 World Cup history.
