Odisha Cricket Association bans bottles inside stadium for 2nd ODI

New Delhi: The OCA has banned spectators to carry water bottles into the stadiums, after the last T20 against South Africa here was twice interrupted by angry fans throwing water bottles.

It's unlikely that spectators will be given any bottles, and water will be supplied mainly through water pouches and paper glasses...

also the entire playing venue and the stands will be separated by nets, to prevent any untoward incident of spectators throwing objects at players.

Barabati stadium nearly escaped a ban after the incident last year against South Africa.
