Obed McCoy added to Windies squad for last 2 T20Is against England
It would be a huge chance for McCoy to make his debut in the shortest format of the game as West Indies all-rounder Andrew Russell pulled out of the series
The Windies have roped in 22-year-old pace bowler Obed McCoy to their T20I squad for the rest of the two face-offs in the 3-match series against England. The last two matches are slated to be played on March 8 and March 10 respectively at St Kitts.
McCoy made his international debut against India in October 2018 where the left-arm fast bowler took four wickets in two ODIs. He is yet to appear in the T20Is and Tests for the Windies.
It would be a huge chance for McCoy to make his debut in the shortest format of the game as West Indies all-rounder Andrew Russell pulled out of the series due an adverse reaction to a medical procedure done in Dubai before he flew to the Carribean according to an official media release by Windies Cricket.
