'Muralitharan Ultra Pro': Spinner's Extraordinary Turn Stuns Batter, Video Of New 'Ball Of The Century' Breaks Internet
Spinner's extraordinary turning ball left the batter stunned as the ball pitched outside off stump but turned in sharply to rattle the stumps.
A superb delivery from a spinner during the match between Kuwait Nationals and SBS CC in the KCC T20 Challengers Cup 2024 has gone viral on social media. Several users including the ex-India cricketer Aakash Chopra has termed it the new 'ball of the century'. In the video, the spinner can be seen bowling a flighted delivery that landed way outside the off stump. However, as the batter got into a position to play a stroke it turned in sharply and rattled his stumps.
The clip of the incident has gone viral with several users re-sharing the same on their profile. A recurring theme of comments on social media was the comparison to Shane Warne's 'Ball Of The Century' delivered to England's Mike Gatting during the 1993 Ashes where Warne's delivery had pitched outside leg to hit the top of off.
"Even Murali will be watching this in a loop," wrote one of the users on social media.

Meanwhile, South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi after spotting the video tagged compatriot Keshav Maharaj in the viral video. He reckoned that the Protean spin-duo needed to add that delivery in their arsenal.
"We've gotta work on this ball next @keshavmaharaj16 😎😅," he wrote.
