'Mere Liye Tu Humesha Cheeku Rahega': Yuvraj Singh's Heartfelt Post For Virat Kohli

The friendship between former India's legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and one of the best batsmen of the present times, Virat Kohli, is once again can be seen in Yuvraj Singh's heartfelt post written for Kohli.

New Delhi: Team India's former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has written an emotional letter for former Indian captain Virat Kohli. While showering his praise on Kohli, Yuvraj said that he has seen Kohli grow as a cricketer and as a person. He also wrote, "Mere liye tu hamesha Cheeku rahega aur duniya ke liye King Kohli".

Yuvraj took to his official Instagram handle to praise Kohli for his discipline and dedication towards the game.

"Virat, I've seen you grow as a cricketer and as a person. From that young boy in the nets who would walk shoulder-to-shoulder with the legends of Indian cricket, you're now a legend yourself leading the way for a new generation. Former all-rounder Yuvraj, who played an important role in helping Team India to lift two World Cups, also wrote, "You have elevated your level of cricket every single year and achieved so much already in this wonderful game. You have been a legendary captain and a fantastic leader. Always keep the fire inside you burning. You're a superstar. Here's a special golden boot for you. Keep making the country proud".

Recently, Virat Kohli stepped down from the post of Test captaincy. The contribution of Virat Kohli in this format is considered very important for Indian cricket. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the Indian team won the Test series in Australia for the first time. While praising Virat, Yuvraj Singh wrote, "I’m glad to have shared a bond with you as a teammate and more so a friend. Scoring runs, pulling people's legs, cheating meals, jamming to Punjabi songs and winning cups, we’ve done it all together. Mere liye tu hamesha Cheeku rahega aur duniya ke liye King Kohli".

Virat Kohli is currently running out of Team India. He was rested after the second T20I against West Indies. Now Kohli will be seen playing in the Test series against Sri Lanka. Kohli will play his 100th Test match in Mohali.
