Man City vs Brentford: If there were any concerns over Erling Haaland's goal-scoring form, all of those came to an end during Manchester City's 1-0 win over Brentford at the Etihad Stadium. It was Haaland who scored the only goal of the match that has put them a point off the top of the table in Premier Legue behind Liverpool. The result has put Pep Guardiola's side level in terms of matches played with Liverpool and Arsenal and now have 56 points to their credit, which is one more than that of the Gunners at this stage. Meanwhile, Brentford are reeling at the 14th place but are five points on top of the relegation zone.

For context, there were questions raised over the Norwegian's form especially after the manner in which he missed nine shots during City's 1-1 draw against Chelsea. However, he netted a fine goal in the match increasing his tally to 17 goals. What turned out to be a match-winning effort came in the 71st minute of the match of the match as he made a fine sprint on to a through ball from Julian Alvarez before stroking it past Kristoffer Ajer. Then it was a one-on-on between Haaland and keeper Mark Flekken whom he beat with ease. 

The youngster's strike means he has now scored against every Premier League club that he has faced. Luton Town remains the only club featuring in the current season of the Premier League that he hasn't faced yet.

Premier League: Everton Play Out A 1-1 Draw With Crystal Palace

In the other Premier League fixture on Tuesday (February 20), Everton managed to take a point against Crystal Palace after going 1 goal down. While it was Jordan Ayew's 66th minute goal that put Crystal Palace ahead, Amadou Onana's 84th minute goal meant that the Toffees walked away with a point from the Goodison Park.
